Yes, the ac outlet will work even if the lamp is turned off as long as the lamp is connected to a power source
Hi, how does the three color temperature work？

Pull the chain several times to switch different light. Pull the chain to turn on the lamp, then pull it again to turn off, then pull the chain once again, then you will get the daylight white, Repeat the above steps，you will get the nature white.
